Originally a female researcher on the hero side, she develops a twisted love for the monster Ibis, betrays the heroes, and becomes a female monster. She’s a love warrior who says she’d do anything for Ibis, but in the end, Ibis sees her as nothing more than a pawn, crucifying her to drain her energy. Yet Aranebia still loves Ibis… That’s the gist of the story.The female monster form has 2 variants: battle mode and others (human form / H-scenes). Female monsters are pretty rare, and while the design isn’t bad, it’s a shame. It’s masked, but I wished they’d used makeup or face paint to show more of the actress’s expressions. Wanted H-scenes in full masked battle form too. The human form has strong female monster vibes—top-tier for past GIGA works—but it’s unavoidably cute-looking, which is disappointing.The H-scene with the hero is from the hero’s first-person POV, like VR. In the joint fight with Ibis-sama, flower-pattern frames appear around the screen from her joy. No “yarakare” (defeat rape) scenes.It’s a unique take, but when tackling “evil” themes, I wish they’d incorporate what that niche audience wants. Feels heavy on the creators’ self-satisfaction, with a strong “this ain’t it” vibe. For evil female execs / monsters, no need for “love”—just “tragedy” is enough.
